Describe the attitudes of employers and other workers toward immigrant, African American, and female workers. Why were these workers seen as “taking” the jobs of others, and how did this view affect their opportunities and working experiences?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Employers and other workers had treated immigrant African American women as outsiders or hostile from their environment and thus felt that they were taking the jobs that were rightfully belonging to the Individuals in the nation. They were also seen as outcasts and thus treated in such a way that led to the process of discrimination. As a result this had affected the oppurtunities and working experiences of these individuals in ways that violated their basic rights and paved way to unemployment as well. Over many years ,due to changing attitudes and regulations, the conditions have seen improvement.
