Parsees are a community during the British India and their 6trade is regarded as the non European contributions in this trade. Thus the Parsi involvement in this trade helped them to gain social status and econmical ganins during there period. Which made their community stronger both regionally and economically.
The British and Dutch companies sold the opium that is grown in India to chinese which made them huge profits along with the Parsi businessman. Thus the opium trade hepled British and Dutch governments to earn huge money.
Due to this opium trade there is a conflict between British and China which lead to war and so many people of India became landless due to the British forcefull taking those lands from the farmers for their trades which was the most drastic event during that period.
