He wants to sponsor legislation to increase public spending on such common medical interventions as because he’s been told early detection saves money: Getting all children the right immunizations at the right time, before they turn 24 months, Screening for hypertension Screening for cervical cancer Smoking cessation classes How would you advise him?
Public spending on getting all children the right immunizations at the right time,screening for hypertension, screening for cervical cancer, and smoking cessation has always been a win-win situation for both the government and the common public. Government would be benefitted as the public would be more healthy and they need to spend less asearlt detection saves money. Public would also be benefitted as early detection ensures better chances of survival and less medical spendings.
Government should increase public spending on medical interventions in order to ensure a healthy and safe environment where every individualwould get a chance for the early detection of the chronic diseases which can be treated well if diagnosed at an early stage. Government can sponsor a health check up plan annually where it is mandate for every individual to go for health screening. If diagnosed with any disease, certain measures can be taken for effective treatment and the individual's life can be saved,before its too late.
