Why is there a greater hazard working on live secondary close to a transformer than farther away?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Before answering let me clarify you one thing, over the last few years the diseases that happened to people who live near the transformers are not in high number. Those diseases also not a great threat to human life. Some stated sleeplessness, some stated headache and some stated body pains.

Now Transformer is a electric material which releases a lot of radiation near it. That radiation is in the form of electromagnetic field. This fields are very high near the Transformer . . There is chance for our body got affected by those fiels. This happens only when we are less than 8-9 m near to transformer. However, there are no scientific proves that tells this radiation cause damage to human lives.

One more dangerous thing about Tranformer is heat. When we don't maintain the transformer properly, there is change for its blast ,which is a great threat to people near it. So try to change the fuel every possible time.. Thanks
