Eating disorder is currently considered a disorder confined Western cultures.However , evidence exists that suggest eating disorder can exist without the western fear of fatness and that this culturally based view of eating disorder may obscure health care professionals understanding of a patient own cultural reasons for self starvation,and even hinder their recovery.
* Financial implication related to disease process.
The eating disorder are linked with higher health care resources use and associated costs,.In particularly they were associated with a high rate of hospitalization, outpatient visits and emergency department visits.
*Environmental implications in related to the disease process.
The medications can also play an important role in the thin ideal of a perfect body size andshape.It promotes unrealistic and unhealthy what men , women and often teen should look like.So we have to provide the correct instruct for the Patient about the environmental factors and implementing care to the Patient.

Nursing intervention for the client with related disease process.
* Perform complete nursing assessment noting skin muscle tone and neurological status include, weight,vital sign assessment.
* Assess nutritional status and set a weight goal.
* Assess client for depression and sucidual potential.
* Assess the lab records and diagnostic investigation of the Patient.
* Encourage liquid intake over solid foods.
* Provide small meals and snacks appropriately.
* Monitor exercise program and set limits and goals accordingly.
* Adminster TPN supplemental nutrition as appropriate.
* Record routine weight per facility protocol.
*Adminster medications appropriately.
* Provide education for client and family members regarding disease, treatment and support resources.

Patient education can be given in3 areas they are,
* Psychotherapy
A treatment for an eating disease will be coordinated by a mental health professional that specializes in treating eating disorder. The Patient should be seeing a psychogist at regular interval to engage in discussion about your life ,school , career and relationship in an effort to unearth the issues which are the true reason for eating disorder.Engage the patient family members in the individuals sessions to provide properly supported during their recovery and to resolve any family issues that could have been a contributing factors.
* Medications
- the prescribed medication should be taken at the correct time , correct dose,
- it is important that ,the patient is closely monitor while taking medication of any adverse reactions.
- the family members should know that drugs such as Prozac have even been seen to cause violent thoughts and sucidual behaviors in children
* Nutritional counselling
- provide small and frequent diet.
- encourage liquid intake over solid foods
- Adminster TPN supplement nutrition as appropriate.
- Advice the family members to require to rebalance the vitamin and minerals in the Patient body.
- Advice the family members to understand that the pattern of patient eating and how to eat in a balanced manner to support this overall health.
#) The members in the interdisciplinary care include, physician,nurses,case manager, social worker, physical therapist, dietitian occupational therapist.
