Mutual benefit or mutuality-
This characteristics describe that in this relationship both buyer and seller has common interest to gain from partnership. In evaluating a relationship it is important to identify the extent to which an actor is willing to surrender individual interests to increase the positive outcomes of one another.
Particularity
Particularity concerns the direction and uniqueness of interaction in a relationship.This characteristic reflects levels of adaptations that one party makes to suit the specificity of the other. It includes the extent to which the two parties invest in, are prepared to adapt in, and demonstrate commitment to the relationship.
Cooperation-
Cooperation is the key to all successful relationship. when buyer cooperate with seller then it helps to build good relationship for future. for example- if seller has problem or facing any issue in supplying goods to buyer and buyer understand his situation and cooperate with it then it leads to good partnering relationship.
Conflict-
every partnership has conflict but by understanding each other's issue like i described in cooperation point. all the conflicts can be removed because conflicts can arise at any time at any point and it is on both parties seller and buyer to remove them to make partnership successful.
Trust-
trust is very important characteristics of partnering relationship in buyer and seller because it helps them both to sustain the relation for long term. for example- if buyer or a company purchases supplies from a old supplier on regular basis and pays on time then it creates trust. this helps buyer to take supplies on credit from seller because if buyer has money issue then seller can give the chance to sell product or supplies on credit based on trust.
