What are prokaryotic cells ?

What are prikaryotic cells ? Give two examples of organism in which prokaryotic cells are  found.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Primitive and incomplete cells  that are, a keyword of nuclear membrane around  their genetic material are called prokaryotic cells. The genetic material in these cells is in direct contact with cytoplasm and also known as nucleoid. The prokaryotic cells contain ribosome but they do not contain  membrane  bou d organelles  like mitochondria,  endoplasmic reticulum etc.

Example of organism in which prokaryotic cells are  present is Blue green algae and Cyanobacteria.

Primitive and incomplete cells that are lack of nuclear membrane around  their genetic material are cal.ed prokaryotic cells.
