Social Stratification is the division of society into classes that have unequal amounts of wealth , power and prestige .It means division of society based on economical , social , religious, race and other aspects .

There is great impact of this in health systems all over the globe . Nowadays health system is becoming stronger which is the post effect of covid 19 and many countries are increasing their budget in health system . During this there is need to study , How social discrimination affects the health of individual and health system .

In a country like India , society is divided in many classes . Such as wealth , poverty , power , Religion , Caste and many more .

Wealth and population: Poverty is the main problem in countries like India . Such people cant afford to have sufficient food, nutrients.. Malnutrition , susceptibility of get infections , deficiencies of nutrients and many diseases are the problem that they are facing  and they cant afford treatment . Healthcare system is trying to control this but the great load of population is affecting this process .

Religion , Caste , Sex , Culture : There are great disparity of values , rituals , facilities resources and rights provided by society , cultural differences .. This disparity affects much in individual's health .. Such as people from lower caste , religion, races didnt had much facilities and now also they are facing some issues like , not getting good sufficient food , water , shelter , education , treatment . Whereas mainly higher classes was getting as much as goods .. In this Females can also be included regarding with their nutrition and cleanliness in their regular menses , ect

These are some examples of the disparity in society . This disparity can affect individual health thereby society the nation . Government is trying to overcome these problems . But if they fail then the future generations will also affect in great intensity . The people of higher classes will have good health and lower class dont , the future generations of people of higher class will be healthy than that of lower class ,life expectancy and ability to do work will be greater in people of higher class than that of lower class , Also it can affect mental health . These things will increase significantly for sure .

Nowadays the health of people who have all resources which can keep their health strong ... is decreasing due to bad lifestyles , Stress and many other factors ?

The simple things can bring a lot of change in social health like spreading awareness , try to maintain the increasing population , increase the resources needed for the people , and main thing is to try to minimize the disparity in society ..
