A microscope has a 12.0 ×× eyepiece and a 63.0 ×× objective lens 18.0 cmcm apart. Assume a normal eye and that the final image is at infinity. |
Part B
Calculate the focal length of the eyepiece lens.
Express your answer to two significant figures and include the appropriate units.
Part C
Calculate the focal length of the objective lens.
Express your answer to three significant figures and include the appropriate units.
Part D
Where the object must be for a normal relaxed eye to see it in focus?
Express your answer to three significant figures and include the appropriate units.
The concept used in this question is of lens formula , magnification of lens under normal adjustment , i just use the magnification value given in the problem and then use this value in my equation and finally deduced the value asked in the different parts.
Note :- As the final image is formed at infinity which mean object is placed at the focal length of the eye piece .
