Hi Answer:
Q. 1 Explain the water cycle and why it is important.
Answer:
Water is the most important component of any ecosystem. All leaving creatures animal, plants etc need water to survive. The water cycle is the process from which water goes through. It is known as a cyclic process because it moves around the system i.e. planet. The water cycle process can be explained like this: Waterfalls from the sky as rain, some quantity of this water soaked up by the ground and ret of the quantity goes to the ponds, lakes, and ocean etc. As the sun heats up the atmosphere the water from these sources (ponds, lakes, ocean)evaporates in the form of gas and goes into the air. In another side, the water which was absorbed or soaked by the earth from the water reservoirs inside the earth and make a water table in the. The underground water and water of rivers slowly goes to the sea. After that water vapor fills the air and when the air cool down these water again precipitates and form liquid water. This water forms clouds and again these clouds cause rain. Hence in this way the water circulates in our ecosystem and this circulation cycle is known as the water cycle. The detailed picture of the water cycle is given below:
Importance of water cycle: The water cycle is the only process which maintains the water level all around the planet. It maintains the water table below the earth as well as the water level in the river and ocean. If there I no proper water cycle then the earth planet face water shortage and the ecosystem will be disturbed.
Q.2. Why is our environment important to monitor?
Answer:
The environmental monitoring plays a very important role in the environmental responsibility and its development. The environmental monitoring aware us the impacts of any human activity on the environment. Environmental Monitoring also helps to ensure accountability and transparency for the industry. It also helps in the evaluation of any planning and policy. The main reason that why environmental monitoring is important. (i) It gives us a benchmark means with monitoring process we can plan for the development activities and we can modify them to protect the environment from damage. (ii) it helps us to identify the issues which are created due to environmental damage at an early stage. (iii) it also helps to evaluate the objectives of any project before its completion.
Q. 3.Do you believe there is global warming and our earth is in trouble?
Answer:
Yes, there is global warming and our earth is going to suffer from this as due to global warming the temperature of the earth is increasing day by day and it is assumed if we didn’t control on the causes of global warming then our earth will become a firewall and it is not possible to survive on it. The major impacts of global warming are as follows: (i)The ice of the glacier, mountains melt very fast due to global warming and due to this the ocean water level increases very fast and there will be sinking danger for the cities near to seasides. (ii) due to global warming, several cold-loving species are decline very fast which also unbalance the ecosystem. (iii)Rain has increased across the globe. These are the few examples of global warming we didn’t check our destructive activities such as industrialization at the cost of environment, deforestation and other then soon it will be hard to survive on the earth due to global warming.
