1. in what ways are three temperature scales the same ?
2. In what ways are the three temperature scales different ?
3. At approximately what temperature would Celsius and Fahrenheit thermometer register the same reading ?
4. what is absolute zero temperature ? explain
The three temperature scales that we use generally are - degree Celsius , kelvin , Fahrenheit.
Answer 1. the three temperature scales are same by the way of magnitudes.
Like that the difference between frreezing point and the boiliing point of water is 100oC in each so the kelvin has same magnitude as the degree celcius.
2. Three different temperature scale commonly used to measure temlertempe : kelvin, degree Celsius , Fahrenheit.
these temperature scales are different to each other by the sign and magnitude of scale. Like the kelvin temperature can be negative and positive both while degree Celsius can only be zero or positive and Fahrenheit is always positive value.
3. The approximate temperature at which the value of Fahrenheit scale and degree Celsius has same is -40oC.
4. the absolute zero temperature is the lowest possible temperature where nothing could be colder and no energy remains in the substance.
It corresponds to −273.15 °C on the Celsius temperature scale
