Nowadays, Dress code plays a vital role in our jobs. Most of the customers/employees come in contact with the security guards/receptionists, so it is important for them to dress professionally. Below are the different security functions with the appropriate unifors:

1. Mall security/Warehouse security/Gate Officers at a Govenment Facility/Event Security at a Concert Hall - Male security personnel are generally dressed as black trousers with navy blue or light blue shirt. On the shirt, there is a badge as well like a monogram with a company logo. Same uniform is appropriate for the women guards too. They have to be ironed properly and makes you look respectable. The clothes should always be clean and identical for all the security guards of the mall/warehouse. Sometimes, the guards are also asked to wear shoulder patches which has the name of the company. Caps/hats can be optional.

2. Visitor Reception at a Corporate Headquartes Building - Appropriate dress code for such job is proper formals. For males, it is solid shirt and trousers with a tie. Socks and shoes are a must. For females, it is shirt and trousers or professional skirts. There is no single dress color as such but the formals are a must as they are the face of the Company who are the first point of contact.

3. Casino Security - Officers at casino security are more professional than other professionals mentioned here. Most appropriate dress code is tuxedo/ 3 piece suits - white shirt, black/dark blue trouser (Skirt for women), coat, tie, black socks and shoes. Uniform must be ironed properly and must look clean and smell fresh.
