Magnet has two end similar to positive and negative charges of an electric dipole, earth behaves as a magnet.

The sun emits charged particles which flow towards the earth and beyond in a stream known as solar wind.the movement of these charged particles is affected by the earth's magnetic field in short magnetic field protect us from sun solar wind.

Increasing charge particle also reaching the earth affected our satellite communications systems such as GPS ,satallete etc. due change in magnetic field and it also disturb electric field .

2Anaerobic bacterium which has severral tiny crystals of the mineral called magnetize by earth magnetism as the part of internal structure.It is also presence of brain of some bird like pigeons to guide to their way back home and also compass needle to align with earth magnetism .They becomes stop or confuse.
