Solutions

Expert Solution

The firm wants to conduct a telephonic survey to know the impact of a social media marketing campaign. It is quite obvious that no one would like to tell about a brand which he or she doesn’t know about. If the receiver you have dialed is ignorant of the brand then what response you should expect from them! Apart from brand awareness, another most important problem while conducting telephonic survey is if the sample of the people whom we are about to call doesn’t want to go through a survey! We want to know the impact of our online marketing, the marketing we are doing through the social media platforms such as Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, etc. But the method of survey is something which is not even related to such a thing. It is obvious that the receiver doesn’t have a social media handle. It may happen. It may happen that over telephone you are getting irritating response for brand not being a good one to rely upon rather than getting the response you expect, the survey questions about your brand. Hence we can say a mere telephonic survey won’t satisfy the purpose of conducting a survey to know about the social media marketing campaigns.

Suggestions to Improve:

To know about the marketing which we do through social media, the best way to conduct a survey are online surveys. We can provide interactive questions, we can use design and template to attract a potential customer towards us. It may happen even if someone doesn’t have any idea about our brand but the interesting designs will make one search about us and know about us. Providing a mere discount or samples for free won’t harm us financially but will give us with important information. This will satisfy the purpose.
