Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer) Change is not always positive,in fact there have been examples when it has had severely negative impact, consider Coca cola's 1980's change to new coke which failed so much so that company had to re introduce classic Coca cola. So a change can be positive or negative and it depends on strategy, implementation and circumstances.

Unintended consequences of change in this situation were extra requirement of water which means the town of Lowville would be caught unguarded and would face severe water shortage owing to the requirement for plant,it also put strain on other activities and factories as if a town so close to lake Ontario would suffer, no one could have imagined. It also put a question mark on town 's future potential and showcased how bad the situation was. Residents of Lowville faced strict fines if they didn't comply with water saving measures so much do they couldn't water their lawns and if that wasn't enough, residents got hit by rate increase in order to meet rising demand of water for plant adding to a string of unintended changes in this specific case and showcasing why change is not always good and can lead to position being lost worse.
