Q3 Describe types of policies that are implemented at the National Level. If you live in the U.S., use it for your example. If you live in another country, use it for your example. Just be sure to say which country you are using.
Q4 Describe types of policies that are implemented at the “state” level if living in the U.S. or equivalent level if living in another country. Be sure to identify the location you are using for your example.
Q5 Describe types of policies that are implemented at the city/town level. You can use any city/town, just be sure to say which one you are using.
Q.2) POLICIES THAT IMPACT A MICRO REGION :
EU macro-regional strategies are initiated and requested by EU
and non-EU Member States located in the same geographical area via
the European Council. These strategies deal with common challenges
and opportunities identified in each macro-region. As
intergovernmental initiatives, the implementation relies on the
commitment of the participating countries.
Four macro-regional strategies have been adopted so far by the EU:
the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (2009), the Danube Region
(2010), the Adriatic and Ionian Region (2014) and the Alpine Region
(2015). The four EU macro-regions encompass 27 countries with more
than 340 million people.
The European Commission plays a leading role in the strategic
coordination of the strategy’s key delivery stages. It gives
support to key actors, evaluates and report on the macro-regional
strategies to guarantee the EU dimension. To succeed, the EU
macro-regional strategies need a balance between the leadership
provided by the countries and regions involved and the role of the
Commission.

Q.5) POLICIES THAT ARE IMPLEMENTED AT THE CITY/TOWN LEVEL :
Thousands of cities and towns have active policies, plans, and targets to advance renewable energy. Policy momentum continued in 2013 as city and local governments acted to reduce emissions, support and create local industry, reduce energy demand through efficiency improvements, relieve grid capacity stress, achieve security of supply and independence from the national grid, and become more resilient to climate change. local governments made increasing use of their authority to regulate; make expenditure and procurement decisions; facilitate and ease the financing of renewable energy projects; and influence advocacy and information sharing.By the end of 2013, 36 Indian cities had finalised solar city master.national governments often observe sub-national level actions and consider using successful programmes as blueprints for national policies. As cities have become increasingly important for achieving national goals, their participation in the design and development of "vertically integrated" state and national policies has grown. In this way, cities are exploring how to tap into new climate financing mechanisms for emerging economies and developing countries, such as Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions.
