Why use a differential measurement in voltammetry?
Votammetry is an Electro-analytical technique which is mailnly used to get information about an analyte, even current can be measured by varying voltage.
In voltammetry three types of electrodes are used working electrode, auxillary electrode, referance electrode.Referance electrode is a standard electrode in which potential is constant.Auxillary electrode is a thin platinum wire carrying current,in which redox reactions occur simultanously.
In Differential Pulse voltammetry the current is measured depending on two variable, first being time and other being potential.
ADVANTAGES OF APPLYING DIFFERENTIAL MEASUREMENT IN VOLTAMMETRY
