For a successful public health infrastructure there should be a collaboration of efforts from both public as well as private health structures.A public health crisis which occured in 200l shook in the form of Anthrax shook the US health infrastructure.At that time there were less resources to contract the crisis.it addressed the need for a system which could manage crisis,but also has the capability to adress challenges governing preventing or managing chronic illness,infectious diseases,bioterrorism as well as in monitoring the safety of food and water.The most important reason for the fragmentation of the government public health infrastructure is a result of the way in which governmental roles and responsibilities at the federal,state and local levels have evolved over US history.But today the nation has the resource,expertise and obligation to assess the health of the nation and to make recommendations for its improvement.
