It is also playing a contributory factor to the rising cost of health care. Such issues in health care can be resolved by the innovative solutions such as telemedicine, Medical advice from remote locations and presence of trained staff in the health care facilities, as suggested by the article.
Here, the demand of physicians in the USA is due to the growing demand of the health care services in the USA. The worsening of the situation is the tightening immigration norms that have made it difficult for the physicians to come as immigrant. It caused the shortage of demand and forced the health care facilities to follow for the alternative ways to deliver the solutions.
In pursuit of it, they came out with skill based trained nursing staff and other professionals and offering telemedicine services. It helped the health care facilities to cope with the demand of physicians. It is suggested that one demand crisis, gives different ways to resolve the crisis by offering innovative solutions. Though it can create the quality crisis also as trained professionals cannot replace the position of physicians in the healthcare setting.
