What is the meaning of the phrase “liberal arts”? Why is a liberal arts education valuable in the workplace?

Solutions

Expert Solution

liberal arts could be identified as the subjects which are important for a person who is freee. These are also academic subjects which include physical sciences, literature or social sciences. These programs include different courses such as psychology, history, literature, biology, mathematics etc.

As a result of modern arts, the teacher would be concentrating on their responsibilities as a teacher and the range of subjects. Liberal arts help in providing a person with intellectual abilities and not only academic knowledge. There is an integrated knowledge base without concentration on only one form of subject. Rather, it helps a person become future proof in order to work in a number or subjects.

When working in workplace today, concentration on only one field is not desired. Master of all is the kind of person that a workplace desires. To be involved with transferable skills, the employee would be able to solve problems with ease, backed with knowledge.
