Why is attitude so important to a successful closing? What are some aspects of a positive attitude that you believe contribute to success in closing (and in selling in general)?
Answer: Attitude determines the behavior of the people. It also determines the tone of interaction, patience and other similar aspects related to the process of selling. Closing sales requires a great deal of patience and tactfulness on the part of a sales person. Attitude directly affects these factors and hence determines the successful closing of a sale. Without a positive attitude, the sales person may not be able to close sales. There are a number of aspects of positive attitudes that can contribute to success in closing sales like persistence, motivation, determination and so on. All these factors help the sales person to understand the needs of the client, answer to their queries and keep their calm during difficult questions that the client may ask. These aspects also help in impressing the clients and creating a positive image of the sales person that is useful not only in closing but also in general.
