Physical development :- a nine months baby's are also becoming experts at quickly changing position.they can push up to a crawl position, sit back down and povot to pick up a toy.your little one may even be able to pull to a stand , and May soon, start cruising around the room while holding onto furniture.
Cognitive development :- nine months baby try to find objects you've hidden.try new ways to reach the same goal, or change old actions, through Trail and error.connect animals with actions and sounds, such as meows,barks, or chirps.
* watches the path of something as it falls
* look for things she sees you hide.
* plays peek- a- boo
* puts things in His mouth
* moves things smoothly from one hand to the other
* pick ups things smoothly from one hand to be the other
Psychosocial development :-
The neurodevelopmental skills your baby will have a developed by 9 months are : your baby can sit unsupported now. Tour baby will be able to pick up toy and move them from hand to hand.your baby will develop pincher grip in his fingers and will be able to pick up small objects using the index finger and thumb.
The sensory behaviors you are looking for include:
Exploring and examining an objects using both hands and mouth.
Turning several pages of a chunky board book at once.
Experimenting with the amount of force needed to pick up different objects focusing on objects near and far investigating shapes,sizes, and textures observing environment from a variety of position.

Health promotion :- growth and development of infant although historically adults have considered infants unable to do much more than eat and sleep ,it is now well documented that even Young's infants can organize their experiences in meaningful ways and adapted to changes in the environment evidence shows that infants form strong bonds with their Care givers, communicate their needs and wants and interact socially. by the end of the first year of life,infants can move about independently, elicit responses from adults communicate through the use of rudimentary language, and solve simple problems.
* increase proportion of infants who are put to sleep on their back .
* increase the percentage of infants who are breastfed, especially those exclusively breastfed
* achieve and Maintain effective Vaccination coverage levels for universally recommended vaccines among young children.
* increase the proportion of newborn who are screened for hearing loss by later than age 1 month have audiologic evaluation by age 3 months and are enrolled in appropriate intervention services no later than age 6 months.
Immunization :- universally recommended vaccination should be give the infants asper schedule.in 9 month baby should be give OPV 2 and MMR - 1
Health screening :-
* Developmental screening by now your baby may have covered several developmental milestones characteristics to his age..
* Hepatitis B dosage :- your baby may get his final dose of hepatitis B if he hasn't received it yet.
* Oral check up .your baby may have grown his first tooth by now..
* Blood test.
Nutrition :-
9 month Baby can Take half cup of food three to four times a day ,plus healthy snacks .now you can start to choap up soft food into Small pieces instead of mashing it.your baby may even start to eat food herself with her fingers.continue to breast feed whenever your baby is hungry.
Injury prevention :-
To avoid the risk of injury from poisoning ,keep all medicines,cleaning supplies,and chemicals out of children's reach ; use child proof door knobs and cabinet latches as necessary; avoid transferring potentially harmful substances to different receptacle,like soda bottle or food storage containers.
