You work for a large beverage distribution company and you are managing the "Milk or no Milk" project, which involves a redesign of the milk container for your company. You have several things to consider in order to complete the project successfully. Most generally, you will need to factor both the functional and nonfunctional requirements of the project. Complete a 750-1,000 word proposal that identifies the appropriate stakeholders, defines the requirements for the stakeholders, and states the rationale for the requirements. Also, identify the business requirements across the organization so that the data can be properly validated. Some of the functional requirements to consider are the business rules, industry rules, legal or regulatory requirements, and certification requirements. Some of the nonfunctional requirements to consider are performance (i.e., shelf life), reliability, environmental impact, and ease of use to open.

Aim: Redesign of Milk container fro the company.

The main functional requirements and non-functional requirements should be met in order to get the approval for the design of new Milk Container. Coming to functional requirements the first thing we should consider in designing the milk container is industry standards. That is design should obey the standards like milk container obeys safety principles and the workers can work easily with it without getting injured. The legal or regulatory requirements are mainly the manufacturing procedure using the new design and way handling the raw products and ease of usage of the container also plays a very important role. While designing the new model for milk container we should also consider the business rules which are very important. Some of the business rules to be considered is the cost of creation of the new model, the investment to be done, the output growth it gives, what are the drawbacks which it will overcome when compared to old model and how it going to help, how the new design is going to help in increasing the production and other things. And the most important thing to be considered in business functional is the cost of production of the container with the new design. Certification requirements are also needed for the proposal as it will help to know the details of the quality of product are prepared and the details of how the procedure of working is known and what is purity we can achieve in our product using the new design. Hence these are the functional requirements which are to be considered while designing the new milk container. Meeting the functional requirements in the design is very important to get the design approved.

Another requirement which we need to be considered is non-functional requirements. These requirements help to get some best working model for the given requirements. In this requirement, we consider the raw material used to create the container. Some of the materials used for this purpose are Stainless steel and some other Stainless steel which contain other metals which give strength to container. While selecting the material for creation we should consider what are the procedures are done during usage and generation of finished products as it impacts and most important thing to consider the investment to be done. And the raw material used should obey the industry standards. Another thing we should consider is the capacity of the new design, It mainly depends on the requirements and what is machinery available to use the new design model. The materials used should be strong enough so that it does not allow leakage or any spills which are one of the important things to be considered while designing the milk container. We need to also check that the metal will not cause any problem in the manufacturing process which involves certain procedures to be carried out on milk like heating pasteurizing etc. As the quality of milk is affected. Another thing is capacity which should be selected based on the given requirements and feasibility. The life span should also be considered while selecting the container as investing again and again on a thing will not be accepted. The other thing to be considered while designing is reliability that is the degree to which we say the accuracy of the measured thing. In short, we can say the consistency of the model is performing well. We should also consider how the newly generated model affects the working and amount of labour required to work with it. The new model should also use the new technology so that I will reduce the routine hard work done by labour and provide a good outcome with ease. It should be easily handled and can be used by the operators. The environmental impact should also be considered while designing a new model of milk containers.

Hence these are some of the functional requirements and non-functional requirements which a person should consider while designing the new model for the milk container so that the best outcome is obtained which obeys not only the business and industry standards but it also helps to get the work done with quality and increase in the production. The model mostly depends on Business requirements across the industry hence first priority should be given to that and the next thing to be considered is the standards, safety, quality and quantity of product obtained by using the new design in the process which we are going to use it.

I hope you got the answer and understand it. Thank you:):)
