identify a minimum of 10 different paradigms that you think actually exist in reality. For each one, propose a name for the worldview, define it and give examples of where you think that worldview exists (i.e., describe what group of people would have it and give a specific example).

(Answer) (1) Expansion of the universe – Scientific worldview – Although the expansion of the universe was first proposed by Fr. George Lamatre, a Catholic priest, it is likely that is paradigm is held by the scientific community.
(2) The earth is round – This was proposed by ancient Greeks long before the works of Galileo or other scientists – This is a scientific worldview.
(3) Evolution – Proposed and analysed by Charles Darwin this is a paradigm held by the scientific worldview.
(4) Philosophy of happiness – This is a philosophical paradigm which states that true happiness comes from making others happy – Philosophical and psychological worldview.
(5) Globalisation – It is a new paradigm where all the worlds markets form a syndicate to conduct free trade. This is a paradigm of an economic worldview.
(6) The existence of the soul – This is a paradigm that states all our thoughts, experiences, temperament and personality are a product of the soul which is supplementary to the body and might be able to exist beyond the physical state. This is a Christian worldview.
(7) Reciprocity – It is a theory that states that people are likely t treat you in a way that you treat them. Accordingly, there is a positive and negative reciprocity which is determined by positive or negative behaviour. This is a paradigm held by the psychological worldview.
(8) Investment – The more true investments and fewer spending patterns result in a better economy. This has been proven not only through the disastrous recession but, also through the methods that countries used to solve recession problems. This is an economic worldview.
(9) Early brain development – This is when early childhood nurturing, diet and overall environment affect the brain development of the child. This is both a psychological and scientific worldview.
(10) Long-term investments – Since long-term investments like property have proven to be sound and help reap benefits, it had formed a new paradigm in the economic world. It may also seem that no investment is safe unless it is a fixed long-term investment for appreciating assets. This is an economic and financial worldview.
