• The United States is one of the largest country in the world whose population have crossed 325 million. The US is called as melting pot,, where people from all over the world comes and get absorbed. They bring a different culture, religion, language. There are about 300 languages spoken in the US, and people from all the religion are found in the US. There are several reasons that people migrate to the US some are. Like
• 1... for a better future.2. Due to unrest in various countries,3. Various other reason like natural calamities, 4.Asylum seekers etc. there is always an influx of migrants legally or illegally.
• People take the various routes to enter the country.
• With the new migration policy, many immigrant children are separated from their parents; those who are entering the US illegally their children are separated and given in the care of the government.
• The children who are separated have a negative psychological effect. As per reports the rooms where they are kept are overcrowded and lack basic necessities. The children have a very limited time. The children are put into foster parent’s houses, but the effect of separating from biological parents is a traumatized experience. As the study shows human brain matures at the age of around 25 years. The childhood traumatized condition of forceful separation will always have a negative psychological effect on a child's growth.
• As per the report of NHS OF May 29, 2018, there are about more than 10000 children are still in government custody.
• There are many voices being raised against this policy are, on the humanitarian ground a child has to be with parents.
