Yes, in my opinion Boeing is working internationally to access new markets, to gain low cost input factors and to develop new competencies because Boeing is committed to serve its customers in a better manner, increase its market share, reduce its operating cost and constantly innovative as well. In order to achieve all this, Boeing tries to acquire newer markets, gain low cost input factors and develop new competencies so that the company's mission and vision statements are achieved. Also customer preferences are to be met and best in class services are to be provided to the customers. This can be done only through offering newer competencies, being technologically advanced and gaining competitive advantage as well. Moreover low cost alternatives have to be identified as well and newer markets have to be accessed through constant marketing and exploration.
No, Boeing's approach in all three areas is not appropriate and more effort is required from the company's end in order to gain considerable market share. This can be only done if Boeing is aggressive in its new market acquisition and technological advancement initiatives and constantly looks out for further opportunities and areas of improvement as well.
