Market research analysts study market conditions to examine potential sales of a product or service, gather and analyze data on consumers and competitors. They help companies understand what products people want, who will buy them, and at what price. They gather data on consumer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits. Workers who design and conduct surveys are known as survey researchers. Market research analysts perform research and gather data to help a company market its products or services.

Surveys:
Brief Interview and Discussion with the individual about a specific topic, survey is also a specific type of survey, to make things even more confusing .a survey is a quick interview, with the surveyor asking only a few questions.
Method Of data collection:
Observe in a survey the surveyor there are two types of data collection first is primary and second is secondary.
Primary data-
Primary research involved the collection of original primary data of researchers. It is often undertaken after the researcher has gained some insight into an issue by reviewing secondary research or by analyzing previously collected primary data.
Secondary data
Refer to data that was collected by someone other than the user. A common source of secondary data for social science includes censuses information collected by the government department, organizational records and data that was originally collected for other research purposes.

Sample Method
Random sampling:
Random sampling is the purest form of probability sampling. Each member of the population has an equal and now chance of being selected. When there are very large populations, it is often difficult or possible to identify every member of the population so the full available subject becomes biased.

The limitations of the study are those characteristics of design or methodology that impacted or influenced the interpretation of the findings from your research. They are the constraints on generalizability, applications to practice, and/or utility of findings that are the result of the ways in which you initially chose to design the study and/or the method used to establish internal and external validity. The selected area was very small. Some people don’t give the proper response. We have were not time and therefore we would don’t in deep study.
Research is more than just learning about your specific topic area. It's also an opportunity to learn about yourself and the world around you. Research experiences use proper laboratory techniques, understand data analysis and interpretation, and conduct literature searches.
