McDonald's does not make any of its product it depends on its suppliers for the products that are being used in making there products
Th are various steps that are involved in the supply chain for hamburger that we buy at McDonalds:
1. The main focus of McDonald is on sustainability and ethics ensure health and safety of people as well as for the animals unit supply chain it endorses production practices for animal which reduces the use of antibiotics in food animals.
2. McDonald's work with its supplier for reducing water footprints of it supply chain and also reduces food and packaging waste reduces emissions especially greenhouse that means to say that it reduces the environmental burden and also the climatic impact
3. McDonald with suppliers work for efficienncy and increasing productivity so that simultaneously sustainable development as well as economic growth can be done the company work is based on United Nations sustainable development agenda that means they work on economics in the supply chain.
4. They follow the method of consistency. It can be shown that they surve to more than 80 million customers with quality responsibility and consistency delivery the following system of food safety which is very important as regarding food safety advisory council.
As compare to the developing countries McDonald's can lack in some respect because of the lacking of materials safety perspective economy all the country especially the developing one which is having less economy and there maybe food safety is not being followed as per the food advisory council lack of infrastructure can be a reason for setting up the McDonald there as compared to developed nation.
