Happiness in tourism, from a generalist perspective, focuses on two large interest groups, tourists - who seek worthwhile experiences and provide the maximum satisfaction - and the community that receives them - which is satisfied when there is a balance between the yearnings of the visitor, entrepreneurs, public managers and theirs. Thus, how to align the strategic needs of the tourist destination with those inherent in sustainable development and without harming local happiness? Discuss and give an examples
Tourism is important aspect of a country. It is income generating as well as beneficial for the country.
Now, Sustainability is one of the aspect of tourism.
Sustainability can be maintained by thinking of new improvements that can be made in tourism field.
For example : By changing traditional tourism methods by new methods or modern ways. Example : Earlier there were lack of hygiene in food stalls , but now we are more cautious and serve food by wearing gloves etc.
Then the next aspect is introducing our culture to tourists. Attracting them to it
Thirdly, seeing to it that our economic growth and wellbeing of our nation is also seen to it while promoting tourism
Most of the time it is the local life disturbed during tourism. To avoid this, can engage locals in various activities involved in tourism. They can be great promoters of tourism. They can be engaged in policy and decision making in various tourist spots as they know the speciality of the places very well.
In this way, tourism can prove to be the best way of promoting our nation to the world.
