Solutions

Expert Solution

  • Yes,I do vote.It is absolutely necssary for every citizen to vote in local, state and federal elections. If you want to see a change, you need to bring a change by voting.
  • With a government elected by its citizens and that effects every aspect of our lives from schools to health care to homeland security, voting is an important right in our society.
  • By voting, you are making your voice heard and registering your opinion on how you think the government should operate.
  • If people have this notion, that one vote will not make a difference, they are in denial, every vote matters and also as a law abiding citizen it is our right to atleast try and get our favourite government in power. The vote atleast ensures that we did our bit and made a contribution,if not anything else.
  • When people don’t vote who can vote – in local and national elections – governments know they have less eyes watching them. They realise they can get away with passing laws that many voters will not protest or care about or even bother to find out about.
