Expert Solution

In western countries this is a trend to ho home early after vaginal delivery and not to stay in hospital . Because of cost containment and hospital bed availability. But this is wrong . Early discharge after vaginal delivery should be at least 48hours.

If a mother going to her home with in 12 to 24 hours after vaginal delivery at tha time nurse have to tell them all complications of this . Early discharge promotes morbidity and mortality rate . Due to some factors or secondary infection mother and child health level will be decreased. After vaginal delivery mother have to take proper rest and sleep and child have to take proper nutrition and vaccination that should be dobe in hospital. Some of the secondary infection mat affect child and mother health should be prevented . Nurse have to tell them all about procedure and benifits of being in hospital that if there will be any emergency doctor is there for controlling the situation but at home it should be long process. An nurse have to tell and learn all aspects about that time. Nurse have to tell about rehabilitation process and things which are in hospital.
