Most effective theoretical perspective that guides the nursing process with assessment of the family.

McCubbin family stress theory. It includes 5 prepositions:

1. The adding up of family problems in terms of demands is a negative factor and is related to family adaptation.

2. Types of families based strengths and weaknesses is family adaptability and hence a positive factor.

3. Family resources in terms of property and cash is a positive quality from adaptation.

4. The family's positive appraisal of the situation is related to family adaptation, and this is a positive relationship;

5. The assertiveness of a family in coping and solving a problem.
