"With regards to simulation and uncertainty: Discuss possible applications of the use of simulation in higher education. As you lead the discussion, I would like your examples to be as specific as possible by describing, for example, what variables would be considered random, and what variable(s) would be considered dependent or independent."
Simulation is basically mimicking the operation ofthe real system such as banking system day to day work, hospital works on daily basis, restaurant management work etc.
It is execution of the model that gives information about the computer program that gives information about the system being currently working.
Simulation has played a very vital role in education as
1. Students learn collaboratively in solving real worls situation thereby enhancing th elearning process
2.Science Technology , Enginnering and Mathgematics students needs specialised training to make informed decisions that affect complex system with thousands of variables and interaction among their elements.
3. Simulation have enabled the students to learn by Playing Educational games which helps to make balance between learning and entertainment components.
Ans 2: The very fisrt stage of simulation is random variables. These are the varibles whoise value basically depebds on the phenonmenon of random variables for example random number distribution, probability theory etc
Independent variableis basically an input that is that is changed to analyse its impact on dependent variable whereas dependent variable is a variable whose value changes depending on the value of anothet variable. Example of Independentt variable is Sensitivity analysis in determining the cost of compant to employess such as average salary of each employee. average rent of the store whereas examples of dependent variable examples are like Total salary of the employee,Total rent, Total Expenses.
