Imagine you are involved in raising money for a good charitable cause and have decided to raise funds from Southeast campus through a variety of activities such as a) bake sale; b) car wash, and c) selling any other ‘legal and ethical’ products around the campus.
Value proposition of your products
Pricing of the products based on any segmentation-targeting-positioning strategies
Distribution strategies in order to reach every corner of the campus
Other retailing-type you would like to employ for maximizing your market reach and increasing your revenues for a charitable cause.
1. Value proposition of the product
Bake sale can be organised with the chocolate theme which would
increase the value proposition of the product as Bake sale would be
organised in the campus. So the chocolate theme would entice the
college students to purchase more of baked products.
Value proposition for car wash can be increased by providing
additional services like providing free pet wash, and adding some
music to the ambience in waiting room with additional coffee
service in the waiting room. This strategy would attract more
people to avail for car wash.
Other ethical and legal products that can be sold in campus can
include keychains with unique designs, herbal cosmetics, medicinal
saplings,etc.
2. Distribution strategy in order to reach at the corner of the
campus.
In every corner of the campus, a layout or map indicating the
location of each stall of the selling product must be installed. So
that the students of campus are aware of all the products available
for sale and location of different services.
3. Other retailing types in order to maximize the profit and increase market reach would be to offer discount on products like herbal cosmetic products and discounted clothing items. Offering discounts on products has always been successful in attracting customers and increase revenues.
