Why is it necessary to manage unsafe acts in addition to unsafe conditions at the workplace? Why do you think employees might act unsafely although they know that their acts may cause accidents?

It is necessary to manage unsafe acts in unsafe conditions at workplace because it can cause accident, loss of lives of employees as well. It can cause physical hazards. It can threaten the health and safety of workers.

Employees might act unsafely although they know that their acts may cause accidents because of following reasons-

1. When employee want to done his work quickly so they throw materials on the floor carelessly.

2. Personal characteristics also influence accident for example- tendency of taking risks and having an undesirable attitude.

3. Because of their carelessness nature

4. Management can also be the reason, sometimes management force employee to increase rate and frequency and in result the tensions which aggressive and negative supervisor generate among employee and they started work quickly without thinking of danger.

5. Poor physique and poor sight but they need money for survival so they do work

6. Irresponsibility among young generation workers

7. For throwing impression on peer group younger workforce generally ignore or neglect the risk

8. Worker has no other job besides this and can do anything to be there at job and earn for survival.
