In your opinion, how this pandemic changed the way of engineering education in universities as well as engineering career post-Covid-19 and how you as a newly-graduated engineer can still contribute to the United Nation Development Plan (UNDP) Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2030 despite this pandemic challenge?

Sustainable development is development in which needs of the present generation is met without compromising the need of future generation.SDG has 17 goals effect I've from 2015 till 2030.SDG-4= " Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote life long learning.".The 2019 corona virus ( SARS COV-2)which started from Wuhan,china has spread throughout the world killing about 300,000 by May 15,2020.About 86,000 people alone died in USA and about 1.4 million people have infection with corona virus in USA. There is no drugs for treatment of the patients infected with corona virus.Social distancing is the best available option to further stop spread of the virus.

In this scenario,the most of the educational institutions have been closed.The digital education tool is being used to continue the instructions to the students.The effectiveness of this digital tool depends on penetration of information technology among different section of the society and digital literacy among the students and teachers.The graduate will be affected in the way of finding employment due to economic inactivity and slowdown in the economy.The number of joblessness in the economy is on rise day after day IN USA and other affected countries.

As a newly graduate engineering student,we can guide our younger generation whether girls or boys to achieve their education through guidance till their is lockdown in the society.Also the needy in the society should be helped keeping in mind safety protocols and government advisories.The SDGS has different goals viz no poverty,zero hunger,good health,gender equality,clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, sustainable cities and communities,responsive consumption and production, climate action,life below and on land,peace,justice and strong institutions.we as fresh engineering graduate can contribute to achieve different sdg goals of undpbundp contributing to the society through invvoative desings of civil engineering structures which is affordable, energy efficient,less water consuming,less consuming available resources etc."Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world-Nelson Mandela"
