Zipcar generally it's a start-up based on the idea of "sharing" car usage via membership organization. This idea came from the europe nation.Two entreprenuers names Robin Chase and Antie Danielson had founded this company.

The operations of the Zipcar has started with only $50,000 capital in 2000. They also operate their business by giving minimum 12 cars for the lease. And their target is to attract customers those who needs cost effective rides and drive less than the 6,000 miles per year.

Their operations also were carried out in four major nations that include US, Canada, UK and Spain. They also cover approximately 75% of the US of more than the 35 states.

They also attracted several investors to make investments in this business by showing them many benefits of this business model and how this will change the way the people ride. They also secured $10 million in funding which is led by the Benchmark Capital in 2005.
