5 arguments that support the fact that government should be run by a politician are :-

1) There can be no discrimination to enter the politics in context of virtues like knowledge and expertise . Thus the ideology of People who propound that only experts should run the government so that they know what kind of decision making they are bound to make is completely baseless.

2) Politicians are well versed with the process of how democratic machine of a country works .They are comfortable in operating a complex system in building an economy and have wider knowledge on how people and economy will behave when a certain policy is imposed or removed.

3) They have a better reach on all segments of the society as they keep on doing political rallies in different areas of a country which gives them an expertise on what are the issues of common people in comparison to any other expert who will specialise only in a certain area of problem.

4) The voters are very ignorant about complexity of important matters to run a government. The politician becomes the bridge between the the complex matter and the voters and turn these Complex issues into simple solutions for the voters so that they can understand the essence of the issue.

5) As a politician represents all sections of a society. Thus they assume that there are many solutions to a single problem .This becomes an essential quality which protects the government from getting struck with one Idea only and creates a better Matrix of options for the society.
