Describe the relationship between chemical equilibrium and the binding of hemoglobin to oxygen and explain why strong acids are good conductors of electricity and weak acid are not
please help me and explain in detail so i can understand.( preferably give examples for both questions) thanks! :)
Electricity is conducted whenever charge moves from one place to another. This can occur in a couple of ways
1) if electrons move from one place to other electricity is conducted
2)if ions move from one place to other their charges move along with them As a result, if you have a solution with a dissolved ionic compound (or if you have a melted ionic compound, for that matter), these charges are free to move around if you apply a voltage to them
in the strong acid the dissociation of acids into H+ and anions is more This solution will act in the same way as a solution of an ionic compound, allowing the solution to conduct electricity strong acids dissociate more becuase their bond strngth is weak compare to weak acids
weak acids also conduct electricity but the fact is that they dont dissociate completly means they dont conduct as much as strong acids
example you take
two acid solution 1) H2SO4 (strong acid ) 2 ) HC2H3O2 (weak acid ) if you attach a light bulb to these solution vy applying voltage you notic that H2SO4 solution bulb will is brighter as compare to HC2H3O2
