Mentally only rank all (6) TQ Principles as you see the value/importance of each principle to creating a successful TQ organizational effort ( lst = highest value; 6th = lowest value).

Note: You cannot say all six are of equal value!  (critical thinking is required)

TQ- customer and stakeholder focus, a process orientation, continuous improvement and learning, employee engagement and teamwork, management by fact, visionary leadership that views performance excellance as a strategic organizational asset

8.20 Person Pointer Function Make a function that will accept a pointer to a vector of Person pointers as a parameter. Return a pointer to the Person with the highest salary. The function must be signatured like: Person* getBestPaid(vector*); The class definition is: class Person { public: double salary; string name; }; You may include code in your main() to test, but the tests in this assignment will ensure your code is correct. You may assume there will ways be at least 1 element in the vector for the purpose of this exercise.

Light from three different lasers (A, B, and C), each with a different wavelength, was shined on the same metal surface. Laser A produced no photoelectrons. Lasers B and C both produced photoelectrons, but those produced by B had a greater velocity than those produced by C. Arrange the lasers in order of increasing wavelength.

If A didn't produce any photoelectrons, Wouldn't it just be a straight line with the highest frequency? And to have a greater velocity would that mean the wavelength increases frequency?

A vertical curve has an incoming grade of +4.4% and an exit grade of -2.2%. The length of the curve is 450.00 ft. The intersection of the grades is at 10+00 and the elevation at that point is 440.00. Compute the elevation of the +00 points on the curve. Then determine the location and elevation of the highest point on the curve. If there is an existing bridge at this location over the proposed road, and the elevation of its lowest point is 451.00 and the required clearance is a minimum of 14.0 ft, does this curve need to be re-designed, or will it fit the required parameter?

Direct reset MOD 12 synchronous down counter circuit
Designed using falling edge trigger SR FF
It is desirable. A, B, C, and D FFs in the circuit to be designed
It will be used. Here the highest-valued output is considered A
It will be. When this design is done, only SA and RA of A FF
after doing logic functions to be applied to their inputs
then write in the fields below. (Counter circuit design
write the steps in the empty space below. Without a solution
the responses will not be accepted. )

2. Deb is the sole shareholder of Timeless Corporation, a calendar year C corporation. In the current year, Trash earned taxable income of $250,000 and distributed $175,000 to Deb. Kyle is the sole shareholder of Swanky Corporation, an S corporation. In the current year, Swanky earned taxable income of $250,000 and distributed $175,000 to Kyle. Assume both Kyle and Deb are in the highest regular tax bracket (use 37%). Contrast the tax treatment of Timeless Corporation and Deb with the tax treatment of Swanky Corporation and Kyle.

A siphon consisting of a pipe of 15cm diameter is used to empty kerosene oil (s = 0.8) from a tank A.
The siphon discharges to the atmosphere at an elevation of 1m. the oil surface in the tank is at ana
elevation of 4m. The centerline of the siphon pipe at its highest point C is at an elevation of 5.5m. The
losses in the pipe are 0.5m up to the summit and 1.2m from the summit to the outlet. Estimate:
i. The discharge in the pipe
ii. Pressure at point C
iii. Length of the pipe given f = 0.0035

We consider a GSP auction with four bidders, A, B, C and D. Since there are four bidders only the three highest bidders will be displayed). The click frequency of the first, second and third positions are 100 clicks/hour, 75 clicks/hour and 35 clicks/hour, respectively. Bidders’valuation per click are vA = 10, vB = 6, vC = 4, vD = 3. Bidder B, C and D bid 5, 3 and 1, respectively.

What is the optimal bid for A?

A H2 molecule can be approximated by a simple harmonic oscillator having a spring constant k = 1.1 ✕ 103 N/m.

(a) How many different energy transitions are possible when the H2 molecule decays from the third excited state down to the ground state?

(b) Find the photon energies produced in these transitions and their wavelengths. Enter 0 in any unused boxes.

relative energy transition energy wavelengths
lowest                       eV              nm
middle                      eV              nm
highest                      eV               nm

Jae throws an object with a certain velocity and a certain angle with respect to the horizontal direction. Calculate the angle at which the horizontal displacement of the object is going to be maximum, ignoring air resistance. Calculate the angle at which the horizontal displacement of the object is going to be half of the maximum. You may need to think about using the velocity equation first, estimate the time it takes to get to the highest position in terms of variables, write the position equations in terms of what you got from the velocity equation.
