Abstract: A marked difference exists in the inducibility of the gene inducible NO synthase (iNOS) between humans and rodents.(Inducibility refers to the degree to which the expression of a gene can be changed.) The rodent iNOS gene can be induced to be expressed at high levels by several types of cytokines (a type of protein generated by immune cells), but these same cytokines have little to no effect on the expression of the human iNOS gene. A compelling molecular explanation for why human iNOS is resistant to induction has not been reported. In this study we present evidence that the hyporesponsiveness of the human iNOS promoter is based in part on epigenetic silencing.

1. Write a class to represent a AlternativeEnergyCar. Select the fields and methods that fit the modeling of an alternative energy car. Make sure to include code for the constructors, set/get methods, a toString() method.

2. Inheritance – Create two abstract subclasses of AECar, one for Electric cars and one for Altfuel cars. Next create four additional subclasses., two for types of Electric cars and two for Altfuel cars( for example, Altfuel cars might be Hydrogen powered or Biofuel powered.) Decide which properties should be pushed up into a super abstract class and which belong in the individual subclasses. You do not need to code every method – just place a stub placeholders. (This answer should be a UML).

Create 3 Classes per the following instructions:

1) Create an abstract parent superclass called MobileDevices and include only the attributes that are common to both cellphones and tablets like iPads. Also create at least one abstract method.

2) Create a child class that extends the MobileDevices class called DeviceType that has attributes and methods regarding the type of device.

3) Create a third class that extends the DeviceType class called DeviceBrand that has attributes and methods for both Apple and Android devices. Make sure to create methods that override any methods in the superclass and possibly any parent class.

4) Create a driver class that initializes the classes and prints out values. Submit you .java files with your name appended to the file names and screenshots of your output.
