Which of the following statements is correct regarding cost curves?   There is more than one correct answer to this question. You must mark all of the correct answers to receive full credit for this question.

The average fixed cost curve is continually downward sloping.

The slope of the total cost curve is marginal cost.

The marginal cost curve passes through the minimum points of the average total cost curve and average fixed cost curve.

The average total cost curve and average variable cost curve get closer to each other as you move from left to right in the graph.

The total fixed cost curve is a horizontal line.

The total variable cost curve and total cost curve have exactly the same shape.

please type it. . We need to work on your sentence structures and how many ideas are in 1 sentence. Also, there are some phrasing issues but this is okay for now. You have ideas but they need to be written a bit more academically. For example, I need a thesis statement in the introduction. I need clear topic sentences. Try not to write as if you are talking, in the present moment. The conclusion should be a summary of what you just proposed on how they will make a contract and have some positive info, which you do have already. I just need to see more of an academic structure.

You need to write 5-8 sentences per paragraph for a total of 20-32 sentences overall.

Introduction paragraph 1: The thesis statement is usually the last sentence of the introductory
paragraph: This paper is going to discuss how Ms. Adelle Dubois will convince the Saudis
management team to agree to a French and Saudi ballet performance and contract.
Topic sentence

for paragraph 2: Ms. Adelle Dubois will need to respect the local Saudi traditions
when negotiating a contact with the Saudi management team.
Topic sentence

for paragraph 3: To convince the Saudi management team, Ms. Dubois will need to
address the Saudis concern for the French women’s dance attire and whether the dancers may
include male dancers or not.
Topic sentence

for paragraph 4 (conclusion): In conclusion, the success of Ms. Dubois’s contract
depends greatly upon her intercultural communication and persuasion skills.

Case 1: A French firm, The Paris Opera Ballet, sent its senior-level manager, Ms. Adelle Dubois, to
opening discussions to negotiate a performance contract with The Theater of King Fahd Cultural
Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The discussion will address how the dancers from France will be able
to perform with the Saudi dancers in Saudi Arabia. Briefly, discuss the cultural values of each culture
in a business context. Mention the language used for communication between the two parties.
How will Ms. Dubois convince the Theater of King Fahd to accept her offer and have both the French
and Saudi dancers perform together?

In the introduction, describe the situation and add a thesis statement. In the body of the essay,

paragraph 2 discuss how Ms. Dubois will learn about the Saudi culture.

In paragraph 3, discuss how
Ms. Dubois will address the Saudis concerns about the French women’s dance attire and whether
the dancers may include men or not. In the conclusion, provide a summary reiterating the
advantages Ms. Dubois may cultivate in order to seal the contract.

1. The waiting times (in minutes) of a random sample of 21 people at a bank have a sample standard deviation of 3.5 minutes. Construct a confidence interval for the population variance sigma squared and the population standard deviation sigma. Use a 99 % level of confidence. Assume the sample is from a normally distributed population. What is the confidence interval for the population variance sigma squared?

2.You are given the sample mean and the population standard deviation. Use this information to construct the 90% and 95% confidence intervals for the population mean. Interpret the results and compare the widths of the confidence intervals. If convenient, use technology to construct the confidence intervals. A random sample of 55 home theater systems has a mean price of $113.00. Assume the population standard deviation is $15.20.

Lafleur Corporation needs to set a target price for its newly designed product, M14-M16. The following data relate to it:

Per Unit Total
Direct materials $15
Direct labour 17
Variable manufacturing overhead 13
Fixed manufacturing overhead $3,179,000
Variable selling and administrative expenses 3
Fixed selling and administrative expenses 2,023,000

These costs are based on a budgeted volume of 289,000 units produced and sold each year. Lafleur uses cost-plus pricing to set its target selling price. The markup on the total unit cost is 40%.

Calculate the total variable cost per unit, total fixed cost per unit, and total cost per unit for M14-M16.

Total variable cost per unit $
Total fixed costs per unit $
Total cost per unit $

Calculate the desired markup per unit for M14-M16.

Markup per unit $

Calculate the target selling price for M14-M16.

Target selling price $

Assuming that 231,200 M14-M16s are produced during the year, calculate the variable cost per unit, fixed cost per unit, and total cost per unit

Total variable cost per unit $
Total fixed costs per unit $
Total cost per unit $

Suppose you live on the Moon and your home is located near the centre of the face that we see from Earth.

i) How long would your "lunar day" be? By "lunar day" I mean from when the Sun is on your meridian - your local "lunar noon" - to the next "lunar noon".

ii) If the Moon is full (as seen from Earth), what phase would you see for the Earth (new earth, first-quarter earth, full earth, etc)? Would it be day or night on the Moon? Explain.

iii) When you see sunrise on the Moon, in what phase would the Moon be (as seen from the Earth)? In what phase would you see the Earth at this time?

iv) What would you see if you were on the Moon during a total lunar eclipse?

v) What would you see if you were on the Moon during a total solar eclipse?

vi) Suppose the distance from Earth to the Moon were twice its actual value. Would it still be possible to see a total solar eclipse from Earth? Why or why not?

Some monkey flowers (Mimulus guttatus) living near the sites of copper mines can grow in soil containing high concentrations of copper, which is toxic to most plants. Copper tolerance is a heritable trait.

The map below shows the area near an old copper mine, which contaminated the nearby soil with copper. A stream flows past the mine toward the lake at the bottom right of the map.

Use the map to determine which of the statements below are true.
Select the three statements that are true.
Select the three statements that are true.
The population that existed before mining must have included both copper-tolerant and copper-intolerant plants.
Nearly 100% of monkey flowers growing in copper-contaminated soil are copper tolerant.
Natural selection favors copper tolerance in all soils near the old mine, not only in the contaminated soils.
Copper contamination in the soil created copper-tolerant plants.
Copper-tolerant plants are found only in contaminated soils.
If you were to test monkey flowers growing on the shore of the lake, you would expect nearly 100% of them to be copper tolerant.

Set up and carry out an appropriate test to determine whether there is convincing evidence that drinking coffee improves memory. Be sure to provide the type of test used, the correct hypotheses, the test statistic, the P-value, assumptions necessary (if any), and the conclusions in context. Assume unequal variances in the populations.
Then, provide and interpret a 99% confidence interval for the hypotheses that you test in (a). What conclusion(s) do you make in context?
