However, each company uses a different method of depreciation. EVEN-LI uses the straight -line method and estimates the useful life of the equipment at 4 years. SOONER uses the double-declining balance method for the first year, switching to straight-line for the remaining years and estimates the useful life of the equipment at 4 years. Assume the following for each company: Revenues in each year were $3,000; expenses, other than depreciation were $1,000. Ignore taxes (0% tax rate) 1) calculate each company's net profit for each of the four years. 2) compare the net profit for the two companies across different years. 3) what are the steps and formulas to solve

A job evaluation plan provides for five labor grades, of which grade 5 has the highest base rates and grade 1 the lowest. The linear plan involves a range of 50 to 250 points for skill, 15 to 75 points for effort, 20 to 100 points for responsibility, and 15 to 75 points for job conditions. Each of the four factors has five degrees. Each labor grade has three money rates: a ‘low,’ a ‘mean,’ and a ‘high’ rate.
a) If the high money rate of labor grade 1 is $8 per hour and the high money rate of labor grade 5 is $20 per hour, what would be the mean money rate of labor grade 3?
b) What degree of skill is required for a labor grade of 4 if second-degree effort, second-degree responsibility, and first-degree job conditions apply?

Program Requirements:
This assignment requires you to create one program in
Java to simulate a Point-of-Sale (POS) system. The
solution must be in JAVA language.
You create the main program called POSmain.java and two classes:
ShoppingCart and CashRegister.
Your POSmain program should take three file names from command line
arguments. The first file contains a list of products and their
prices; the second and third files are lists of items in two
shopping carts of two customers. The POSmain program should first
read the price file, then read each of the cart files to load a
list of items in a shopping cart and store them in a ShoppingCart
objects. The price file may contain a variable number of products
and the cart files may contain a variable number of items.
POSmain then will create a CashRegister object by passing the price
list to it. The POSmain program then will use the CashRegister
object to scan items in a cart and print a receipt for each
shopping cart one by one. At last, POSmain will use the
CashRegister object to print a report for the day.
The students will the report for the day, which requires design of
your CashRegister class.

C.R. is a 42-year-old white male who fell from a 60-foot scaffold while working on the construction of a new building. He is admitted to the emergency department (ED) by ambulance and is strapped to a rigid backboard with cervical immobilization. At the site of the accident, C.R.'s co-workers immobilized his body until the ambulance arrived. His supervisor called his wife.
Question #1: Using the principles of prioritization that you have learned in this course, answer the question: what prioritization category does cervical immobilization fall under?
C.R.'s wife arrives at the emergency department (ED) at the same time the ambulance arrives. She is very agitated and crying. He sees her as he is wheeled into the ED, reassures her that he is okay, and tells her he fell at work. You take her to a waiting room, explaining that she can see her husband as soon as he is stabilized.
Question #2: Comment on your feelings about the wife being taken to the waiting room and told she will need to wait until the patient is stabilized.
Question #3: Using therapeutic communication, write what you could say to the patient at this point in the care of the patient/family.
