Uber Eats is an American online food ordering and delivery platform launched by Uber in 2014 and
based in San Francisco, California. Uber has just set up a platform for the restaurants and customers. It
works as websites and mobile app. Uber Eats now operates in more than 20 countries and more than 200
cities. In each city, Uber has more than 1,000 delivery boys. They are planning to open their services in
more countries in near future.
Delivery boys have to be registered in the Uber sites as either full time or part-time delivery boy.
Delivery boy has to register his name under any city where he is ready to work as delivery boy. So he
can get orders from any restaurants registered in that city. How it works mean, if a restaurant gets an
order and it is ready to deliver, restaurant will forward the order to the delivery boy who is available in
the nearest location of the restaurant. It can be found using the GPS system in the mobile app with
delivery boy. So he can come and take the order to deliver.
Nearly 50,000 restaurants registered in Uber Eats. Restaurants also have to register under the city where
they are ready to provide the service. Then only their name will be listed under the city. While
registering restaurant name, they have to give all the information about the restaurant including contact
information, location and dishes. Registering dishes and the details of dishes like recipe, price are very
important. Because customer has a right to know all these details before he does any order.
Uber Easts maintaining millions of customers in each country. Only authorised customers are allowed to
user Uber Eats service. Authorisation will be confirmed by company through registration process. This
will help company to avoid any unwanted orders or fake activities in the system.
Moreover, apart from delivery boys and restaurants employees, /Uber has around 10,000 employees in
their office to manage their business. It includes technical workers, managers and other officials.

Use the following markets to analyze: Driverless Cars

Identify the market in question i.e. who are the buyers and sellers. Analyze the five demand ceterus parabus conditions and the five supply ceterus parabus conditions. Give a specific hypothetical example for each condition that results in an increases or a decrease. For example if the market were video games, an increase in the salaries of graphic designers would cause the supply of video games to decrease.
