Prepare the cash budget and determine the cash inflows, cash outflows, and the expected change in cash each month.
The management estimates total sales for the period January, 2019 through June 2019 based on actual sales from the immediate past six months. The following assumptions are made:
ļ· The Sales were $125,000 in July 2018 and then the sales grew by 8% each month for the first three months (i.e., August to October 2018) and by 6% for the next two months (i.e., November and December 2018). The sales are expected to grow by 3% each month thereafter.
ļ· 35% of the Sales are collected in the same month. 33% of the sales are collected in the following month. 31% of the sales are collected after two months and the remainder are not collected.
ļ· The Purchases are 60% of each monthās sales and paid in the same month.
ļ· Wages and Salaries are $25,000 each month and paid in the same month.
ļ· Other administrative expenses are $15,000 and paid in the same month.
ļ· Depreciation expense is $5,000 each month.
ļ· An electrical device worth $150,000 will be purchased on credit in April 2019. $75,000 will be paid immediately and the balance will be paid in May, 2019.
ļ· The company had previously taken a loan of $125,000. The annual interest rate is 5%. The interest is paid twice a year in June and December each year. Assume that no principal repayments are made in this period, only interest payments are made.
ļ· The company pays rent of $2,500 quarterly (in March, June, September, and December each year).
Questions:
1. Determine the total cash inflows, the total cash outflows, and the expected change in cash for each month from January to July, 2019. Show your work in excel using excel functions. Based the findings, explain in your own words whether the company should borrow/invest and how much and in which months. [4.50 points]
2. Describe in your own words some of the credit monitoring techniques that the company may adopt. Please write your answer in another tab on the same excel file, no need to upload another Word Document file or type your answer elsewhere. [0.50 points]

In this assignment you will use: one-dimensional arrays; strings and various string-handling methods; file input and output; console input and output; loops; and conditional program statements.
Instruction
You are asked to write a program that translates a Morse code message into English language. The program will ask the user to enter filenames for two input files, one for the code translation table data and the other for the coded message data, as well as an output file that will receive the decoded message text. Initially the program reads the code translation table data file and stores the alphabet characters and equivalent Morse code in two one-dimensional arrays. The program will then read the message input file, inspecting each Morse code value and converting it to the English-language equivalent. The program will write decoded words to the output file and will print short informational messages to the console (screen).
Morse code words in the message input file have one space between each Morse-coded letter. There is ONE word per line in the data file.

A global survey published in 2019 indicated that 99 percent of the respondents would like to work remotely at least some of the time and 95 percent of the respondents indicated that they encourage others to work remotely.86 In another survey published the same year, 47 percent of respondents indicated that a remote work policy is important to them when looking for a new job. Also, 40 percent indicated they would consider a pay cut for a job that allows them to work from anywhere. Appen, Dell, Appiro, Cisco, Salesforce, ConsenSys, GitHub, Lenovo, Ultimate Software, and Rackspace are among the top tech companies hiring remote workers. The job titles for telecommuters include search engine evaluator, voice data collector, digital project lead, software engineer, and AR/VR solutions architect. Working from home offers some clear advantages for both employees and employers. It also offers some disadvantages, such as lack of control and monitoring; however, this is changing. Using computer-monitoring software, employers are now able to check if employees are working or slacking off. One such software application is InterGuard (Awareness Technologies).
To make telecommuting more productive, some employers set targets for each employee to accomplish in a given period. Other employers review summaries of different Web sites that employees have visited and the amount of time that employees have spent on various Web sites. Some other employers track projects and schedule meetings on shared calendars in order to monitor their employees. Still other employers require āvirtual face timeā via e-mail, instant messaging, video chat, or calls.
