Build an Earned Value Management (EVM) model using these variables:

Planned Value: $45,000

i.Note for understanding, this based on time, and what we expected to use based on time.  Your schedule variance is based on earned and planned.

Actual Cost: $39,500

Earned Value (how much has been spent based on planned costs) : $43,500

i.Note for understanding, this usually based on expected costs at the task level.  In other words, for the tasks complete the project was expected to use this much costs. Your cost variance is based on actual and earned.

Balance at Completion: $172,000

Original Time in Months: 14

Calculate in the model:

Cost Variance

Schedule Variance

Cost Performance Index

Schedule Performance Index

Estimate at Completion

Estimated Time

Use conditional formatting to render any “bad” values red, “good” values green and “0” values yellow.  Do cell by Cell.

Analyze the data and denote your evaluation of the project.  Include in the evaluation comments on schedule, costs, and performance

  1. Calculate the probability of the following events. Make sure to reduce your answers to decimals
    1. You have a box of 100 raffle tickets. There will be two tickets drawn to determine the winners of the raffle. What’s the probability that you and your best friend both win the raffle? Assume that the drawing will be conducted without replacement.
    2. You have a box of 200 raffle tickets. There will be one ticket drawn to determine the winner of the raffle. What’s the probability that you or your best friend, or your roommate wins the raffle?
    3. You have a bag of marbles. In the bag are 3 green marbles, 2 blue marbles, and 6 red marbles. What is the probability of drawing 4 red marbles in 4 consecutive draws from the bag? Assume you’re sampling randomly and with replacement.

1 Pick three products to analyze. Pick three products to analyze and write your introduction to the paper. Picture yourself as a product analyst working in a consulting firm. Your job is to evaluate where various products are on the product life cycle curve . Pick three products with the following characteristics:

Product 1 - has been around forever with little change

Product 2 - released relatively recently, perhaps in the last 2-3 years

Product 3 - released very recently, in the last 2-3 months You must pick products from three different industries (for example, they cannot all come from high tech/computer sector). As an introduction to your paper, describe each of the three products, including details about how long each product has been available in the market.

Step 2 Analyze how the characteristics of the target audience affect the marketing of the three products. Analyze how the characteristics of the target audience affect the marketing of the three products, and speculate on the products' adoption rates and processes. For each product write at least a couple of paragraphs describing the characteristics of who the product is targeted for . Be sure to state your reasons clearly. How do the characteristics of the target market affect the marketing efforts? Consider and describe the characteristics of the product and the type of person for whom it is targeted for at its particular point in the product life cycle. Next, explain how the characteristics of the target market change as the product moves through the life cycle. Explain what you believe the adoption rates would be. (This does not have to be quantifiable information.)

Step 3 Summarize your findings. Be sure to state your points clearly and concisel

Ok, so I'm struggling a bit with my labs being online due to covid. I was provided this information and an empty table.

"Sorghum is a genus of grass containing 25 species. Several species are grown in cultivation as livestock feed and one, Sorghum bicolor, is grown widely as a grain for human consumption and also for production of molasses and ethanol. It is one of the top five grain crops grown and consumed worldwide (along with wheat, corn, rice, and barley). Stem color is a character in Sorghum plants with two traits: red stems (dominant) or green stems (recessive). Complete Procedure 10.5 using the following data: 267 red stems and 103 green stems."

I believe I was meant to hypothesize the expected? Or was there a different way to attain that information through what was provided? Part B of the question is to state whether the hypothesis is supported or rejected, and show the rationale for my decision. Any help/explantation would be greatly appreciated! I have a handful more of these on my homework and I'd like to know that I'm doing them properly. Thank you =)

What you have to do:

Your task for this activity will be to compare and contrast the locomotor strategies of the following three hominin species: Ardipithecus ramidus, Australopithecus afarensis and Homo erectus. You will accomplish this by answering the following questions.

Use the following resource for Ardipithecus. https://milnepublishing.geneseo.edu/the-history-of-our-tribe-hominini/chapter/ardipithecus-ramidus-ardipithecus-kadabba/ (Click)

Use the following resource for Australopithecus https://milnepublishing.geneseo.edu/the-history-of-our-tribe-hominini/chapter/australopithecus-afarensis/ (Click)

Use the following resource for Homo erectus https://www.nationalgeographic.com/science/2004/11/humans-were-born-to-run-fossil-study-suggests/ (Click)

Before you begin make sure view all relevant reading material so that you can give me informed opinions.

1. Which hominin had the best arboreal capabilities? Make sure you explain your answer by talking about only one feature that backs up your claim. Choose only one feature from the lower extremities (Legs and feet).

2. Which hominin was the first to have feet that are effective for habitual bipedalism? Briefly explain what makes their feet more effective for bipedalism when compared to previous hominins.

3. Which hominin had the best anatomy for running on two legs? Briefly explain how you would know and tell me about two specific skeletal features that suggest that your chosen species was running on two legs.

4. Lastly, I would like you to give a short summary of the notable evolutionary changes in locomotor strategy (the way that you move around) that you notice occur over time as seen from the perspective of Ardipithecus ramidus, Australopithecus afarensis and Homo erectus.

Instructions:
Answer the following question through an essay: “What olfactory (smell) based capabilities do humans have, and how can it be used for human computer interaction?”.

Your answer should be minimum 1 a4 page 12pt/single-spaced (~550 words) and maximum 2 such pages (~1100 words).

You will need to (a) do some research about the smell-sense to find details about how researchers characterize or quantify smell (see our lectures on other senses and about the limit/range of each sense) and explain the different subtypes/ranges of smell in your essay, (b) explain what kind of devices (ideally using a diagram) can be used to emit smells to the user, and (c) explain at least one (actual or planned) application of olfactory smells.

Let x be a random variable that represents the pH of arterial plasma (i.e., acidity of the blood). For healthy adults, the mean of the x distribution is μ = 7.4.† A new drug for arthritis has been developed. However, it is thought that this drug may change blood pH. A random sample of 36 patients with arthritis took the drug for 3 months. Blood tests showed that x = 8.7 with sample standard deviation s = 3.4. Use a 5% level of significance to test the claim that the drug has changed (either way) the mean pH level of the blood.

(a) What is the level of significance?

State the null and alternate hypotheses.

(b) What sampling distribution will you use? Explain the rationale for your choice of sampling distribution.

What is the value of the sample test statistic? (Round your answer to three decimal places.)

(c) Estimate the P-value.

Sketch the sampling distribution and show the area corresponding to the P-value.

(d) Based on your answers in parts (a) to (c), will you reject or fail to reject the null hypothesis? Are the data statistically significant at level α?

(e) Interpret your conclusion in the context of the application.
