Mr. Schmidt is a 56 year old male patient who presented to the emergency department with complaints of left foot pain and swelling, fever and chills for 2-3 days. The client reported increasing discomfort to the foot with noticeable redness that also seems to be worsening. He has an ulcer to the dorsum of the left foot. The client noted that he was seen by his family physician a week ago and a swab was done on the ulcer which came back positive for Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. On assessment the client appeared fatigued and tired. As the primary nurse you noted a foul odour from the wound with swelling & erythema to the left foot and leg.

2. Why was the patient at risk for developing an infection? Explain in detail using pathophysiology.

3. Provide a detail pathophysiological explanation for the local signs of infection - swelling, pain, erythema, and warmth- found in the patient.

4. Is Mr. Schmidt also presenting with systemic signs of infection? If yes how, if not why not? Explain your answer in detail.

A statistics professor is at a supermarket waiting in line to buy some groceries. While waiting for the line to move he listened to several people complaining about the long delays. From the different conversions going on he quickly gathers some inform and estimates from the large sample that the mean waiting time is about 12 minutes. He then estimates the population standard deviation to be 1.5 minutes.

1. (a) Explain in detail using full sentences how he should go about finding a 90% confidence interval for the time he has to wait in line to be served. Enumerate each step.

2. Let’s assume that from the question in part (1) it is determined that its margin of error is approximately 3.5 minutes. (a) What does this mean exactly for a 90% confidence interval?

3. Let’s assume now that the professor finished his computation and determined that the 90% confidence interval will be within (8.7 – 15.3) minutes. (a) If he now wants a 95% confidence interval, will the range be bigger or smaller than (8.7 – 15.3) minutes? Explain.

4. It is normal to think that more is better. In the question from part (3) (a) Is the 95% confidence interval better than the 90% interval? Explain. (b) If that is the case why do we not use a 100% confidence interval? Explain.

One of the most successful attacks against wireless networks (WLAN) is the Evil Twin attack. The goal is to introduce an attacker-controlled wireless access point near the “known good” WLAN network. This access point will advertise the exact same SSID as the authorized WLAN. Wireless users may accidently connect to this malicious access point thinking it is part of their authorized network. Once the connection is established, the attacker can initiate a man-in-the-middle attack and capture or relay traffic while eavesdropping on the entire communication.

Explain the potential risk an Evil Twin attack like this this would present, not in theory, but to your own organization (company, school, etc.) and how you would go about setting up an Evil Twin attack if you were an attacker. Detail the goals, tools, process, and methodology. Use whatever research will assist you. Provide screenshots if possible to demonstrate what you are doing. They can be third party

The second function of management to address is organizing. There are many moving parts to your fundraising event, and organizing them will be key to ensuring no resource gets missed or wasted. Using the known information and the concepts learned in class, create and present your organizational structure in the second section of the proposal you began last week. You can use a template in Excel® titled organizational chart to visually show your organizational chart. You can create a chart in Excel® and take a screenshot and put it into your document. Then, below your organization chart, make sure you include the answers to the following questions: Explain who reports directly to you and why you selected them. Describe what their responsibilities will be. Explain who else they interact with and how they will interact.
