Corporations Essay: Instructions

Given all the corporate scandals in recent years, there are ample real world examples of corporate wrongdoing to study. The focus of this assignment is to apply the corporate concepts from the text to the "real world." In this essay, you will research and write about a specific corporation. The essay is due Sunday of Week 7, and is worth 60 points.

1.Select a Corporation

You are required to select one of the following corporations:

Adelphia Communications

WorldCom

2.Research the Corporation

The purpose of this assignment is to locate firsthand information about what happened to the company you've selected (remember how researching can be enlightening given the McDonald's assignment). You may use the Internet and other research sources such as Stafford Library's online resources for this assignment. A minimum of 3 different resources are required. The use of multiple sources helps ensure that you have reliable information and a comprehensive view of the case.

Your research should focus on the potential or actual criminal and civil liability of the corporation and its officers and directors. For example, what did the officers or directors do wrong? What duties were breached? What has happened with the criminal and civil lawsuits so far? Who filed the suits and what claims were filed? Were there conflicts of interest present here? How did these activities affect the shareholders and/or the company as a whole? What did the officers and directors do that was a criminal or civil wrongdoing? What duties did the officers/directors breach? What has happened in the civil and criminal suits?

3.Write Your Essay

Once you have found relevant material write your own summary. The minimum length requirement is 10 paragraphs but most students have much more than this. Your essay should also incorporate at least 6 different key terms and phrases from this week's readings. Write them in all caps so they will stand out in your paper.

When writing, keep in mind that your research should explain and discuss concepts as though your reader knows nothing about them. Analyze and summarize your findings using your own words and also incorporating terms from the textbook readings. Excessive quoting from your sources is not desired, and will cause you to lose points.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE ORIGINAL.....THANK YOU :)

ASAP PLEASE

Problem Statement A car dealer wants to use a software to display his or her cars’ information. As a software developer, you are going to develop a simple program for the dealer. You will have a Car class which has the following member variables: 

Car’s Brand 

Car’s Color 

Car’s MPG (Mile Per Gallon)

This class has setters and getter for all member variables. This class has four different constructors:

1. A constructor with no argument.

2. A constructor with only one argument which is brand

3. A constructor with only two arguments which are brand and color

4. A constructor with only three argument which are brand, color and MPG.

If the caller of the constructor does not give a value for a particular member variable, a default value should be assigned when a constructor is called: The default value for brand is Ford. The default value for color is Red. The default value for MPG is 30. This class (Car Class) has one public method named DisplayCarInformation().

When the method is called, it prints the car’s brand, color, and MPG values. In another class named CarTest, you will have a main() method. Within the main(), you need to create at least 4 car instances. You must call the four different constructors in your program. Since you have 4 or more Car objects, you MUST use ArrayList data structure to store them. For each object, you need to call its DisplayCarInformation() method which will print the brand, color, and MPG on the console and write to an actual file named carInfo.txt. Your output format should be easy to understand.

Sample Output “Ford, Red color, 30 mpg” “Chevy, Red color, 30 mpg” “Tesla, Green color, 30 mpg” “Toyota, Blue color, 28 mpg”

Input None Output Print cars’ information on console and to an actual file named carInfo.txt

In this assignment you are to make an inventory management system for a car dealership. The dealerships current method of tracking inventory is using a list which has the color and name of each car they have in inventory. There current inventory list will look like the example below.

RED TOYOTA
WHITE HONDA
.
.
.
BLACK BMW

The types of cars that they order are as follows:

TOYOTA, HONDA, BMW, NISSAN, TESLA, DODGE

The colors they purchase are as follows:

RED, WHITE, BLUE, BLACK, GREY, PINK

You are to ask the user for the name of the file that holds the current inventory list. Once given to you, parse the list and populate a 2D array to track the number of cars with a certain type and color. All colors and types of car may not be present in the inventory list. You should also tell the user (in the terminal, use cout to print the message) if you come across a car type or color that you are not tracking. If you come across a car or color that you are not tracking do not store it in your new inventory database only notify the user that you found it, your output for this prompt should match the below example.

Prompt to show when you find something that you are not tracking:

Unknown car or color in the input file: <UNKNOWN CAR COLOR> <UNKNOWN CAR TYPE>

Once you are finished you have parsed the input file prompt the user for the name of the output file they would like you to store the new database in. The output file should follow the format given below (yes you will need to use iomanip to get this format).

| RED | WHITE | BLUE | BLACK | GREY | PINK |
----------------------------------------------------
TOYOTA | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
HONDA | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
BMW | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |

Can you find two sets of vectors (2 red and 2 blue) in the xyxy-plane for which the cross product of one pair is in the positive zz-direction and the cross product of the other is in the negative zz-direction, but the angle between each pair of vectors is the same? (Give an example or explain why this is not possible).
