I have searched the percentage of each question, but I want to know why there are differences?
a. What's the percentage of loans out of total assets for Bank of America and Central Bank? What explains such a significant difference?
BOA:40.2%, Central Bank:67%.
b. What's the percentage of total deposits out of total liabilities (including capital) for Bank of America and Central Bank? Again, why do you think there is a significant difference?
BOA:66.1%, Central Bank:89%.

100 moles of ethane (C2H6) are burned with 50% excess air. The percentage conversion of the ethane is 90%; of the ethane burned, 25% reacts to form CO and the balance reacts to form CO2. Calculate the molar composition of the stack gas on a dry basis and the mole ratio of water to dry stack gas.

The Centers for Disease Control reported the percentage of people 18 years of age and older who smoke (CDC website, December 14, 2014). Suppose that a study designed to collect new data on smokers and nonsmokers uses a preliminary estimate of the proportion who smoke of .31. a. How large a sample should be taken to estimate the proportion of smokers in the population with a margin of error of .02 (rounded up to the next whole number)? Use 95% confidence. 637 b. Assume that the study uses your sample size recommendation in part (a) and finds 520 smokers. What is the point estimate of the proportion of smokers in the population (to 4 decimals)? .31 c. What is the 95% confidence interval for the proportion of smokers in the population (to 4 decimals)?

2. One of OSH’s goals is to cut the percentage of U.S. adults
who were users of tobacco to 12% or less within nine years of the
last year of these data. Does your regression model suggest that
OSH is on target to meet this goal?
3. Estimate the number of years that must pass after these data
have been collected before OSH will achieve this goal. Round your
answer to the nearest whole number in years.
