Thomas Griesel has been responsible for the logistics and operations behind HelloFresh since founding with Dominik in 2011. Previously, Thomas had spent time at OC&C Strategy Consultants and worked on a range of his own businesses and ideas. With a love of healthy food, nutrition, cooking, and a desire to make access to healthy food as easy as possible for as many people as possible - starting a Food at Home business seemed the natural choice. 2012 After examining business models from Sweden to Japan to very local ideas, they and a group of like-minded individuals formulated the recipe for HelloFresh. The team started early in 2012 packing shopping bags in Berlin, Amsterdam and London with a view to target the highest density population areas in Europe. Quite quickly, they started getting requests from people outside those areas who all wanted to become a part of the HelloFresh family. Wanting to serve as many people as possible, the team developed a logistics model that enabled them to deliver to every single household across a given country. 2013 The HelloFresh product started to rapidly gain in popularity, as subscribers shared the excitement about their weekly boxes, with friends and colleagues. Subscriber referrals accelerated, as it became clear that HelloFresh had finally solved the "What's for dinner tonight" problem for its subscribers. 2014 Having launched on the East Coast of the U.S in December 2012, HelloFresh moved to cover the entire country in September 2014. Over the short time since then, HelloFresh has grown rapidly to become one of the largest players in this market. QUESTIONS Do you consider HelloFresh a form of disruptive or sustaining technology? Is HelloFresh an example of Web 1.0 (ebusiness) or Web 2.0 (Business 2.0)? Describe the ebusiness model associated with HelloFresh. Describe the revenue model associated with HelloFresh.

Are the types of positions held in the IT industry independent of how long individuals have worked in the industry? Researchers determine the position held and years in the industry for 246 individuals working in the IT industry. The data can be found in the excel file job. Run the appropriate tests and place the screen shot of your MiniTab or excel output below.

Run all tests at the 5% significance level. When running a chi square test for association, you MUST check off “each cell’s contribution to Chi-Square” in MiniTab (this is found by selecting “statistics” when in the test dialog box). If using Excel you must complete these by hand within excel. When running a one-way or two-way ANOVA test, also perform a Fisher’s LSD comparison test for any significant factors, at the 5% significance level.

Here is an outline for some code I need to write. This class used Intro to Java Edition 11, and we only got to Chapter 9. There is no set right way that this program has to be done. Feel free to interpret this in a way that you wish.

Mrs. Quackenbush is back! She now has bought a beverage establishment, The Green Dragon Inn, and needs to have a way to insure the consistency of the drinks her employees serve. Your company has the task of providing a user-friendly way for Mrs. Q's customers to receive the same high quality at each visit. This program is a kind of evaluation of what you have learned this semester, so you should be careful to insure user-friendliness and programmer-friendliness throughout.

  • Create a parent (super class) for Beverages
  • Create a child (subclass) for Drinks you wish the Green Dragon to sell. (could be a bar, coffee shop, malt shop, etc.)
  • Create an ARRAY of Drinks to hold the recipes for the drinks sold..

Thanks!

This is JAVA

The mere presence of oversized arrays makes Priscilla Perfect sick to her stomach. Such wasted space is an imperfection she cannot bear. As her oldest and dearest friend this worries you greatly. If you were a doctor you might try to find a cure to her sickness, but you are a programmer. A program must be written to alleviate her pain!

For any array given that has empty slots create a new array that is perfect. Unused slots will have a value of 0. All unused slots are guaranteed to be at the end of the array. There will never be unused slots in the middle.
java.util.Arrays has been enabled.

Examples:

makePerfect({1, 1, 4, 5, 6, 0, 0, 0, 0}) -> {1, 1, 4, 5, 6}

makePerfect({1, 3, 4, 2, 6, 0, 0, 0, 0}) -> {1, 3, 4, 2, 6}

Flow control is one of the main building blocks that determines how a program should run.
Ghana Cocoa Growing Company wishes to compare the impart of two newly acquired
fertilizers on cocoa. They will do this by applying the same quantity of the two fertilizers on
two similar but different cocoa plant under the same conditions (humidity, sunlight, soil
moisture etc.). They will then choose the fertilizer whose crop produces the best harvest
(highest quantity per square feet). As a programmer,
a. Suggest a flow control method that would be used to do the comparison and explain
the reason why you chose it.
b. Write a flow control statement that would do the comparison in “a” above. (5
marks)
c. The Ghana Statistical Services (GSS) is interested in your statement in “b” above but
it is of the view that it is too specific. They want you to modify it by creating a
function that takes four arguments i.e. (the names of the two fertilizer and their
individual yields). The function should return the name of the fertilizer with the
greatest yield.

Number of Shirts Discount

5–10                    10%

11–20                   15%

21–30                   20%

31 or more           25%

Write a program that prompts the user for the number of shirts required and then computes the total price. Make sure the program accepts only nonnegative input.

Use the following sample runs to guide you:

Sample Run 1:

How many shirts would you like ?

The cost per shirt is $12 and the total cost is $48

Sample Run 2:

A Question of Ethics

You are enjoying your job as a summer intern in the IT department of a local company. At lunch yesterday, several people were discussing ethical issues. You learned that some of them belong to IT organizations that have ethical codes to guide members and set professional standards. For example, Ann, your supervisor, belongs to the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), which has over 100,000 members from more than 100 countries and a website at acm.org. Ann said that the ACM code of ethics is important to her, and would definitely influence her views. On the other hand, Jack, a senior programmer, believes that his own personal standards would be sufficient to guide him if ethical questions were to arise.

Because you are excited about your career as an IT professional, you decide to visit ACM’s website to examine the code of ethics and make up your own mind. After you do so, would you tend to agree more with Ann or with Jack? Why?
